The view made it worthwhile

Waking up to fine views of the fjord was a good surprise. The spacious room and modern decor added a calming vibe.

The breakfast selection was limited, lacking the variety we hoped for. On the downside, the restaurant closed early, limiting our dining options during our short visit.

Modern and good standard hotel, staff always excellent. A nice size & silent rooms with boring interior, nice view plus 2 double beds. Excellent restaurant for dinner and for breakfast...

Beds were a bit too soft.

Location is amazing. The communal areas are very pleasant.

The rooms are very basic as are the bathrooms.

The bar area offered a stunning view of the fjord that enhanced our evenings. We found the room to be smaller and stuffier than expected, especially when the sun was shining.

The room was a good size with comfortable bed and had a superb view of the bay. The breakfast was generous and of good quality food.

The internet facility via the tv screen and keyboard worked ok but was a bit slow and difficult to use and couldn't have been used for anything other than accessing e-mail.

The location near the forest and beach was perfect for outdoor fun. We enjoyed selecting comfy pillows from their exclusive program. The breakfast was solid, but it could use a little more variety. It's a nice spot for a getaway.

The only downside was the room was a bit on the small side, but it didn't ruin our experience.

we had a very nice stay and the location was stunning and particularly good. comforts of family room with nice view on the park were fabulous.

If you compare the prices of other hotels this is quite good. If you come by car, everything is within a short driving distance (Roskilde center, Copenhagen, Helsingor). Free parking. The hotel complex is huge, you can ask for a view of the fjord, the room has a nice, big desk if you're planning to work. The buffet breakfest is great.

Ironically the rooms in this huge hotel are tiny. A single room is the same size as the double (the only difference is that you get 2 towels instead of 1. Our room was connected to another by a door, so expect to hear your neighbour. No free Internet. At the hotel there is a restaurant and a seperate bar, however, it's deserted. Completely inconvienient for those without a car (few kms from the center).

I loved the amazing views over the water and the spacious room. The modern decor added a great vibe. Perfect for chilling out!

Good location in a fairly ordinary town. Views across the lake was a bonus. Hotel layout was attractive with plenty of garden areas and well designed relaxation areas. Food range was very good; most important as there is little around the area offering a reasonable place to eat. Staff friendly and most helpful. Room layout and fit out typical of scandinavian hotel rooms. Breakfast included and like most hotels in Germany and scandinavia, the servings are generous. Parking on site is plentiful and free.

Roskilde has not much going for it, exempt for the Viking museum. However, Copenhagen is a little over 40 minutes away. Closer by train.

We enjoyed the stay as the staff was friendly,location was lovely,peaceful staff were friendly. Very relaxing!

Restaurant was expensive and could possibly use a bus service to get into town and not enough tea left in the rooms.

The guy who recieved us when we arrived in the middle of the night was very friendly and helpful and almost made me forget that we had to try four rooms to find a room that was actually cleaned.

The girl in the reception who checked us out was on the other hand much more unsympathetic and made me regret that i put up with searching for a room in the middle of the night. Oh also we got no wifi on the room which we paid extra for.

Helpful staff Nice modern design feel to the hotel and an interesting layout Close to the vibrant town centre of Roskilde and the Viking Ship Museum Roskilde is on a direct line to Copenhagen airport

As I was on foot the fact that it was on the outskirts was less convenient than if it had been close to the town centre.
